the chaffinch choked and did the forest fall on me

Now; who could that be communing with an incredible Cragg at the Frieze Art Fair? ...the fjords of my mind.
This site has some great images...

It's vandalism, not art, says council as it bans Banksy.
I think the chaffinch singing on the orchard bough did died of Brit political toxins.
Caught this morning a preview of Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson directed by Alex Gibney (Enron, Taxi to the Dark Side). His world seems so far away from the world we now have to believe in. On general UK release 19 December through Optimum- a great pre-Xmas movie to balance the desperate joyous excess. But could most of us cope with Hunter's excess? At least he'd keep us smiling...more than some landlords are ever are able to do. Brit social housing makes Hunter's world seem full of happy irradiated finches:
Sick of the system
Feeling the squeeze
Banks exploit legal loophole to seize homes
Banks behaving badly
It's easy to be cynical of The Times sponsorship of the London Film Festival but it all makes for a very interesting dialectic.
More hitherto untold stories in The American Future: A History by Simon Schama. And on the other BBC channel Stephen Fry is still getting fascinated in America.
